Education

          Terry is a graduate of the University of Toledo and the University of Toledo School Of Law.  In law school, Terry was an Editor of the Law Review. 

Prior Firms

          Prior to joining the Firm, Terry was a partner with a large law firm (Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur) with six offices.  Terry served as the firm's Administrative Partner in its Cleveland office. 

          Terry began his career as an attorney with the United States Department of the Interior.  He served in the Department’s offices in Washington, D.C. and Boston and was responsible for ninety percent of the administrative litigation handled by the Department in a nineteen state region. Later, Terry became a partner with the firm of Marshall & Melhorn in Toledo, Ohio where he served as a Managing Partner.

Litigation Practice

          Litigation engagements have included, among others, commercial litigation for a wide spectrum of industries, contract litigation involving real estate, construction, corporate, securities and financing issues, tort and negligence litigation, unfair trade practices, labor and employment law litigation and environmental issues  These engagements have periodically involved commercial arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

          Terry is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals in various Circuits and the United States District Courts in various states.

          The businesses seeking Terry’s assistance range in size from Fortune 500 corporations to entrepreneurial start-ups and also include financial institutions and not-for-profit organizations.

           Terry is or has been a member of the following Bar Associations and Sections within those Associations: American Bar Association; Ohio State Bar Association; and the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association - Litigation Section.
